Milk & doorstep rounds
Milk delivery software for small doorstep rounds
Two pints on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, eggs on Saturday, and a note saying they're away next week. RoundSorted keeps every doorstep order straight and turns each morning into a load list and a round.
Sound familiar?
Notes in empty bottles
Changes left in the empties, scribbled on the back of a bill or sent by text, and copied into the round book by hand.
Holidays and stops
Customers away for a fortnight, a new baby needing extra, someone who's cancelled. Miss one and the milk sits on the step.
Loading the float
Counting pints, cartons, juice and eggs from the round book every night before an early start.
Collecting the money
Weekly bills, cash under the mat, and an evening round to collect from those who forgot.
How RoundSorted helps
Standing orders by day
Each doorstep's order for each day of the week, set once. Holiday pauses and one-off extras sit on top and drop off by themselves.
Customers change it themselves
A private link lets each customer change tomorrow's milk or skip days for a holiday before your cut-off. No app, works on any phone.
Load list for the morning
Totals of every product for tomorrow's round, so the float is loaded right the night before.
The round in order
Doorsteps arranged in driving order with Google Maps, and notes like 'behind the plant pot' for every house.
Cash and card
Record cash left out on the doorstep against each drop, and send weekly or monthly bills that customers can pay by card online.
Free for 5 customers
Try it with a handful of houses free. Solo is £29 a month for unlimited customers on one round.
A day with RoundSorted
At 6pm the cut-off passes. Two customers have paused for half term and one has added orange juice for the weekend. The load list for tomorrow is ready: 312 pints, 40 cartons, 24 boxes of eggs. At 4am the round is already in order on your phone, with each doorstep's note. On Friday weekly bills go by email for customers to pay by card online, and the cash customers are marked as you go.

Questions people ask
Can customers pause for a holiday?
Yes. They can skip days through their link before your cut-off, or you can set a pause with start and end dates and their order resumes by itself.
Can I record empties and returns?
The driver can note returns on each drop. There isn't a separate bottle stock count.
My customers are older and not online. Does that matter?
Not at all. You can make every change yourself. The link is there for customers who'd rather do it themselves.
Can I run more than one round?
The Team plan includes five rounds or vans, each with its own driver login, and you can add more at £10 a month per extra van.
