Firewood & logs

Firewood delivery software for log merchants

From October the phone doesn't stop. RoundSorted keeps your log customers, their usual orders and top-ups in one place, and turns each delivery day into a load list and a route that makes sense for the van.

Sound familiar?

Winter rush, summer quiet

Most of the year's orders land in a few cold months. Notebooks and text threads can't keep up when everyone wants a bulk bag before the weekend.

Loads and van payload

Working out how many bulk bags, nets and kindling go on which day, and not overloading the van, from scraps of paper.

Routes that zig-zag

Rural addresses, farm tracks and long lanes. A badly ordered day can cost an hour of driving and a lot of diesel.

Cash at the door

Some pay cash, some by card, some by bank transfer later. Remembering who has paid is a job in itself.

How RoundSorted helps

Regulars and top-up orders

Keep repeat customers with their usual order, and add one-off deliveries in seconds when they ring for a top-up.

Customers change orders by link

Each customer gets a private link to change or skip an upcoming delivery before your cut-off. No app to install.

Daily load list

Totals of bulk bags, nets, kindling and kiln-dried logs for the day, so you load once and correctly.

Route in driving order

Stops arranged using road times with a Take me there button for each stop, and access notes like 'drop by the log store, round the back'.

Cash, card or invoice

The driver records cash taken at the door and a photo of where the logs were left. Account customers get an invoice they can pay by card online on paid plans.

Free plan to try it

Up to 5 customers free, then £29 a month for one van with unlimited customers.

A day with RoundSorted

It's a cold Thursday in November. Tomorrow has fourteen drops booked: nine bulk bags, twelve nets of kindling and a couple of regulars topping up. You open the load list in the evening and load the trailer to it. In the morning the run is already in driving order around the villages, and each customer gets a photo of their bags by the log store. Cash taken is logged against each drop, so the end-of-day count is quick.

Questions people ask

Does RoundSorted handle Ready to Burn certification?

No. Certification is between you and the scheme (in England, wood sold in volumes under 2 cubic metres must be certified Ready to Burn). You can add your certification number to your product names or notes, but RoundSorted does not check compliance. Our firewood delivery guide explains the rules and links to gov.uk.

Is it worth paying for in summer?

You can move back to the free plan when you're quiet. Your customer records stay, though the free plan has a limit of 5 customers.

Can I take card payments at the door?

RoundSorted records cash taken at the door and sends invoices that customers pay by card online on paid plans. It is not a card terminal.

Does it cope with rural addresses?

The route order uses road times from OpenStreetMap data with a Take me there button that opens Google Maps for each stop. Access notes tell the driver which track or gate to use, and you can drag stops into a different order when you know a better way.
